MUGSHOT MAYHEM: DRUNK DRIVING 22-Year-Old WOMAN CHARGED With VEHICULAR HOMICIDE For KILLING ATLANTA POLICE OFFICER!!!

Meet CHASITY NICOLE JONES!!!

22-year-old STONE MOUNTAIN-resident CHASITY NICOLE JONES is being held without bond in the FULTON COUNTY JAIL on charges of FELONY FIRST-DEGREE VEHICULAR HOMICICIDE, DRIVING UNDER The INFLUENCE (Midemeanor), and FAILURE To YIELD To PERSON AUTHORIZED To DIRECT TRAFFIC (Misdemeanor) following her arrest for the Drunk Driving Killing of 20-Year-Veteran ATLANTA POLICE DEPARTMENT Senior Officer GAIL THOMAS.

Thursday, January 26, 2012, Fulton Magistrate Judge JESSY LALL set bond at $15,000 on the two misdemeanors, but refused to allow bond on the vehicular homicide charge.

Judge LALL scheduled a Preliminary Hearing for CHASITY NICOLE JONES for Feb. 9 in FULTON SUPERIOR COURT, at which time her lawyers can ask a Superior Court judge to set bond.

CHASITY NICOLE JONES had not previously been arrested, BUTT (a big but); she has been cited six times for traffic offenses, including four times for SPEEDING. She has also been cited twice for MAKING ERRATIC LANE CHANGES and twice didn't show up for court appearances.

In November 2008, she was cited in GWINNETT COUNTY for causing a One-Vehicle wreck on FIVE FORKS TRICKUM ROAD.
Investigators say CHASITY NICOLE JONES was driving drunk when she struck and killed Senior Officer GAIL THOMAS shortly after 11:00PM, Tuesday, January 24, 2012, on the Brookwood Interchange ramp from I-75 Southbound to I-85 Northbound.

20-year-veteran APD Officer GAIL THOMAS was on the scene to assist another APD Officer with another automobile wreck.

Thomas had just arrived at the scene of the accident when Jones plowed into her, taking her life as she got out of her patrol car.

Thomas, 46, died at the scene. She was the second female APD officer killed in the line of duty.

While at the scene CHASITY NICOLE JONES blew .16 on a Breathalyzer Test. An Alcohol Level of .16 is TWICE the level of .08 that is considered TOO DRUNK TO DRIVE.

"that she began a relationship with her Tae Kwon Do instructor."
